New Blogger

As the proprietaire, I feel it is time that I started to blog , like the US president, whose name we don't mention.
January can be quiet so we have decided to liven things up with a Burns Celebration on Sunday and Wednesday. Forget the kilt and bagpipes, we are not that keen, but we have very good grub by Scottish standards, which is not difficult, and our Henry addressing the Haggis, assisted by the master, Hamish Aitkin.
Next event will be a touch of the Romeo and Juliet in February followed by a serious St David's Day with Henry and myself bringing back memories of Richard Burton and Dylan Thomas.
This will be an event not to miss.

The garden has burst into life with lots of flowers in the borders and a quite superb Clematis display at the bottom.
The bus stop is becoming increasingly popular and more and more people are using the 291 to get to the pub. Two saturdays ago a group of 20 appeared for a pre-booked lunch and left by bus!
The Brumaison beer was particularly popular when it appeared as a guest last week so will be repeated.
